Links to visit around the World Wide Web

Text Box: This area has some of the web pages that I visit often.

Musical Box Society, International (MBSI)
This is a group of people that have a love of mechanical musical machines (player pianos, nickelodeons, monkey organs, band organs, dance organs, etc.). Don’t know what any of those machines are? Look around on this web site, and even download a sound file to hear what they sound like.

My Myspace Page
Nothing special, but here is my own Myspace page. There is a short video clip of my friend Johnny Kash and I from our “Dueling Organs” concert from the Methodist Church in Warren, OH in the summer of 2006.

Fox Theatre
This is the web page of Olympia Entertainment, the company that the Illitch family formed to run their entertainment empire. It consists of the Fox Theatre, Hockeytown Café, City Theatre, Cobo Arena, Joe Louis Arena, Detroit Red Wings, Detroit Tigers, and Uptown Entertainment (the movie theatres in Birmingham, MI)

Detroit Red Wings
I LOVE HOCKEY! It’s the only sport that I really like. My favorite team? Well, the web site here should clue you in!

Redford Theatre
This beautiful Japanese-themed movie palace is Detroit’s last-remaining neighborhood movie palace still in operation. It is owned and run by the Motor City Theatre Organ Society. The theatre is completely staffed by volunteers, including the organists for the movies! Take a look around their awesome web site (also created by a great volunteer, Oren Walther (who just became a grandpa for the 6th time … congrats Oren!)

Theatre Historical Society of America (THS)
This is a group formed by people that have a love of classic movie palaces. They have meetings each year and tour some of the most amazing places ever created to show movies. The web site has some great pictures, so take a look around, and consider becoming a member!

League of Historic American Theatres (LHAT)
This is an organization that not only has a interest in classic movie palaces, but also the resources to help restore them. This group also hosts meetings throughout the country each year for people to get together and learn more about what can be done to help preserve these theatres.

Theatre Organs
The instrument of choice for me. These wonderful instruments can do more than any other instrument out there. And most are in beautiful movie theatres as well. Others are in private homes. And there are a few still in pizza parlors throughout the country. There are links to several places with organs in them. Some have sound clips as well.

Dance Organs
This site is not in English, but most web browsers now have a way to translate text into English. If not, the site is still worth going to. Just click on some of the pictures to see more images of the various dance organs. There are several songs that you can download to listen too.

Coasterbuzz
I love amusement parks and roller coasters. This web site is the best web site to get news about anything happening at any amusement and theme park around the world.

If there are any links that are not working, please let me know so I can update my page here. Thanks!
